How this works…
At Cronus Training we want you to feel as relaxed as possible as you work through your qualification. Here is a run down of how the process works.
Step 1
When you get in contact with us, we will book a date for a tutor to attend your place of work and carry out the training.
Step 2
We arrive ready to start at 9am.
Classroom -
- Introductions
- Initial assessment
- Powerpoint presentation
Practical outdoors -
- Use of cut-off saws
- Refueling
- Changing blades
- Different blade types
- Using cutting aids
Assessment -
- Classroom paper test
Step 3
E-certificates will be sent via email as soon as they are processed on our side.
This usually happens within four weeks.
Course Requirements
On-Site Facilities
To be able to carry out this course safely and efficiently, we require use of an indoor area that can comfortably fit at least 7 people. This can be an office space or even a canteen on site, as long as it's big enough.
We also require use of an outdoors area where cut-off saws can be used safely.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Learners must bring the following items of PPE to be able to take part in this training:
Safety Eyewear (Class EN116-B)
Safety Boots (Steel toe Cap)
Dust Mask (FFP3)
Hearing Protection (sufficient to reduce the noise below 85dBs)
